Marking

Marking work with printers in various applications, such as on cardboard boxes, requires maximum accuracy. This is because the positioning must be consistent and in the right place while the carton is in motion. The incremental WDGI 58E hollow bore encoders are ideal for seamless monitoring and simple installation. These can be mounted directly on the drive shaft and provide reliable measured values. Alternatively, solid shaft encoders can be mounted using a coupling.

Important features:
Incremental encoder WDGI 58E

  • High-quality electronics for up to 25000 pulses
  • Connection: Cable connection radial, plug M23 or M12 radial
  • Protection to IP65, IP67, shaft sealed to IP65
  • Highest mechanical and electrical safety
  • High protection class IP67, at shaft input IP65
  • High interference immunity
  • Full connection protection at 10 VDC to 30 VDC
  • High output frequency up to 2 MHz
  • Electrical interfaces: TTL/RS-422, HTL/Push Pull or SinCos 1 Vpp
  • Optional: -40 °C to +85 °C, pressure compensation diaphragm

Labeling bottles

The precise application of labels to bottles requires careful monitoring of the speed. Especially when the conveyor belt moves the bottles during the process. To ensure consistent positioning, the use of the WDGI 58A is recommended. This state-of-the-art full-shaft encoder not only enables precise positioning of the products, but also effective control of the feed speed. Various absolute interface options are also available. It can be mounted via a coupling.
